The three websites I used:
1. U.S. History
This site can be trusted because it is a ".org", has more than three links that work properly, has a year that it was last updated on the bottom of the website, and it also has a list of the "historians" on the home page along with some info about them.
2. Ibiblio
This website is credible because it has a ".org", it also says that ibiblio.org is a collaboration of the School of Information and Library Science, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and
Information Technology Services at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Other than those two evidences, the page also has many links that work properly.
The first link is the the page where I found all of my information, the second link is more like the home page where I found how the website is credible.

3.Modern American Poetry
This website is credible, although it is a ".com", it passed the "lemon test" because it has three external links that work correctly, it has a date when it was last modified, and also it includes editors and some information about them.
Summary
Website 1 President Truman had a hard decision to make, he could either possibly end the war and kill a bunch of Japanese, or let the Americans continue fighting and have major loss of life on both sides. "When Harry Truman learned of the success of the Manhattan Project, he knew he was faced with a decision of unprecedented gravity. The capacity to end the war with Japan was in his hands, but it would involve unleashing the most terrible weapon ever known." (website 1). On August 6, 1945 the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. "Instantly, 70,000 Japanese citizens were vaporized. In the months and years that followed, an additional 100,000 perished from burns and radiation sickness." (website 1). Two days following that event the Soviet Union declared war on Japan. The day after the Soviet Union declared war on Japan the United States dropped another atomic bomb on Japan, this time in a city called Nagasaki. This second bombing cost the lives of 80,000 Japanese people. Five days after the second bomb was dropped, Japan surrendered. Truman said that the decision of dropping the atomic bombs were strictly military decisions. "...the United States remains the only nation in the world to have used a nuclear weapon on another nation." (website 1).
Website 2 In Nagasaki there was an alarm that had gone off previous and the "all clear" had been given, many children and workers were out and about. "The attack came 45 minutes after the "all clear" had been sounded from a previous alert. Because of the lack of warning and the populace's indifference to small groups of planes, the explosion came as an almost complete surprise, and the people had not taken shelter. Many were caught in the open..." (website 2). "Hiroshima before the war was the seventh largest city in Japan, with a population of over 340,000...As the headquarters of the Second Army and of the Chugoku Regional Army, it was one of the most important military command stations in Japan" (website 2).
Website 3 The second bomb that was dropped, was dropped on Nagasaki. This second bomb, "....had the power of 22 kilotons of TNT, and weighed 4,050 kg. (nearly 9,000 lb.)" (website 3). This giant bomb was set out originally for a different city located in Japan, but due to bad weather conditions, the U.S. decided to drop it on Nagasaki. "The aircraft's first target was the city of Kokura, now part of Kitakyushu, but as it was covered by heavy cloud the aircraft was diverted to its second target, Nagasaki." (website 3). The bomb exploded about 1,625 feet above the ground, it had struck schools, factories, and private houses directly. The blast of the second bomb was larger than the one at Hiroshima, but due to topography, there was only 2.6 sq. miles of Nagasaki that was burnt to ashes, rather than Hiroshima that had 5 sq. miles reduced to ashes.

Conclusion
- President Truman said that the dropping of the bombs was a strictly military decision. Also many Japanese were vaporized instantly.
- There was an alarm that previously went off. The people had been given the all clear and they were not cautious about the planes we sent over. They were completely surprised.
- The second bomb had more power than the first. Also the location of where the bomb was to be dropped changed last minute due to weather issues.
